We know you want your guests talking about the amazing experience they had long after it’s over. As your partner, we go above and beyond to ensure that they are.
After years of experience in the entertainment industry, we realized that we’re less in the music making business and actually in the memory making business. For Dat Band, it’s all about the experience you walk away with.
We host events like dance competitions, live band karaoke, conga lines and more to interact and make your guests a part of the action.

Customizable Reception Band Sizes
Dat Band offers customizable party bands for your main event from five to thirteen members to meet almost any space or budget.
Bands can include options like male & female lead vocalists, guitar, drums, percussion, bass, keyboards, and horn players like saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. Keep in mind that a larger band doesn’t necessarily sound louder, but will always sound richer and fuller than a smaller band. A larger band will also allow us to cover a wider variety of music.
Pro Tip: Our most popular options for weddings are between 7-11 piece bands.

We can provide live ceremony music when your ceremony and reception are hosted at the same venue.
Your choices can be as traditional as a string quartet playing the classics like “Canon in D”, or as contemporary as modern pop songs played on a solo guitar for a more intimate feel.
We can also provide a speaker system with a wireless mic to amplify your officiant during the ceremony. P.S. This system can also be used as a budget-friendly option to play recorded music instead of live music during your ceremony.

We can provide a traditional marching brass band by itself if you prefer to do the planning yourself, or even a turn-key second line street parade experience including the brass band, parade permit, police details, with all the planning & logistics included. All you do is show up and party!

Are you hosting a separate cocktail reception at your wedding? We can also bring a jazzy and uniquely New Orleans sound to your wedding, perfectly crafting the right atmosphere for conversations between newly joined family. Small combos like quintets, quartets, and trios are available in addition to solo players like guitar or saxophone.
P.S. If your cocktail reception is in the same space as your main event, the reception band can always play a cocktail set from the main stage!
